The SARSSM Women's Support Group is a talk-based peer group.  It is a closed group, which means once it has been established, no new members will be able to join, even if some group members leave the group.  The group can only accommodate 10 participants in order to ensure a quality experience for all.

The application process is the first step for consideration.  Select applicants will be invited to interview with the group co-facilitators.  Participants will be selected based on their ability to commit to the schedule, community commitments and group guidelines.

All group participants must be survivors of sexual violence, over 18 years of age,  and identify as women in order to participate.

SARSSM is in the process of developing additional Support Groups.  If this group is not a fit for you, chances are we are developing one that may be, however, we invite you to fill out our survey to help us create the one(s) you are seeking!.
