Sexual Assault Response Services of Southern Maine (SARSSM):  That's us!  Serving Cumberland and York Counties

AMHC Sexual Assault Services:  Serving Aroostook, Hancock, and Washington Counties 

Rape Response Services:  ​Serving Penobscot and Piscataquis Counties.

Sexual Assault Crisis & Support Center (SAC&SC): Serving Kennebec & Somerset Counties

Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Services (SAPARS): Serving Androscoggin, Oxford, and Franklin Counties, and the communities of Bridgton and Harrison.

Sexual Assault Support Services of Midcoast Maine (SASSMM): Serving Eastern Cumberland County, Sagadahoc, Knox, Waldo & Lincoln Counties.

Culturally-Specific Centers:

Immigrant Resource Center of Maine: Providing culturally and linguistically-appropriate services to refugee and immigrant communities.

Indian Township Passamaquoddy Domestic and Sexual Violence Advocacy Center: Serves victims/survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, stalking, and human trafficking while working to end violence against Native people.

Maliseet Domestic and Sexual Violence Advocacy Center: Effects change within their Tribal community where equality, respect and nonviolence become cornerstones of all relationships. They are dedicated to ending violence against Native women by assisting victims in regaining personal safety and control of their life, ensuring accountability of perpetrators of violence within the Tribal and non-tribal law enforcements and judicial systems, and promoting peaceful relations in our Tribal families and Community.

Micmac Domestic and Sexual Violence Advocacy Center: Serves the needs of victims/survivors of domestic and sexual violence who seek our services while working to end violence against Native women and their children.

Passamaquoddy Peaceful Relations Domestic and Sexual Violence Advocacy Center:  Serves members of the Pleasant Point Passamaquoddy Tribe and all community members residing on the Pleasant Point Passamaquoddy Reservation who are experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence or stalking.

Penobscot Nation Domestic and Sexual Violence Advocacy Center: Serves the needs of victims/survivors of domestic and sexual violence who seek their services while working to end violence against Native people.

National Resources

National Sexual Assault Helpline: RAINN is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization. RAINN created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline in partnership with more than 1,000 local sexual assault service providers across the country.
