Remote Learning Resources

About Our Toolkit

The education resource toolkit is a collection of curriculum modules for elementary, middle and high school aged students. Designed with remote learning in mind, we are creating modules online for each topic, including notes to teachers, notes to parents, handouts and worksheets, as well as videos and other activities when applicable. We have kept in mind nuance, best practice and trauma-informed teaching and learning and have done our best to create a module offering that is authentic to SARSSM’s prevention education philosophies, while also being sensitive to the many unknowns of virtual learning.

While developed to continue serving our schools and communities safely during COVID-19, we intend this toolkit to be available and maintained even when we can return to in-person education sessions. This toolkit allows broader access to prevention topics and allows another doorway to having discussions in schools. While it is not exhaustive, and not meant to entirely replace a thorough prevention-based education, we appreciate your partnership in teaching and discussing these topics.

*Please note: we do not presently (as of January 2021) have all age range of modules available, but we are working steadily to complete the modules. Once you reach out to express interest we will keep you on our mailing list to provide regular updates.
