You’ll receive full training & ongoing support to provide this impactful service.

SARSSM urgently needs more volunteer Helpline Advocates to ensure every survivor who calls gets the compassionate care and support they deserve.

Not sure the Helpline is your cup of tea? We have plenty of other ways to get involved! Our volunteers support our work by tabling at community events, preparing educational materials, facilitating support groups, and more. Please email us!

"Volunteering on SARSSM's helpline has been a enormously personally impactful experience.  Being able to contribute to the welfare and wellbeing of my community and neighbors and bringing that small amount of ease to anyone's experience is so meaningful."
