Educator Toolkit

About Our Educator Toolkit

At SARSSM, we believe that sexual violence prevention education is most effectively delivered by educators who already have trusted relationships with their students. Educators who know their students are best able to engage them in these important and sensitive discussions. Our goals are to empower teachers, guidance counselors, and school social workers to teach prevention and education topics, to provide them with training and technical assistance to effectively deliver our content, and to strengthen their skills in responding to related student questions or concerns.

Our Educator Toolkit is an accessible virtual hub that is free to all educators in York and Cumberland Counties. The Toolkit houses our school-based curricula and supplemental materials, information about mandated reporting and supporting students in your classroom, suggestions for creating a trauma-informed classroom, and more!

To access the Toolkit, educators must complete our online curriculum training available here. These trainings support and prepare educators to use our tools and address common questions and concerns. Once you have completed the online training, you will receive an invite to our toolkit within 2-3 business days!
