Peer Support Group Offerings

The goal for Emerge programs, including Peer Support Groups, is to offer peer-connection to survivors, letting folks share space while engaging in conversation and/or a variety of activities.

The act of coming together in a group can have a healing component, whether folks are actively engaging in conversation about past experiences or not.

Traditional Talk-based Support Groups

We offer traditional support groups for survivors and their loved ones. Support groups provide a safe space for those impacted by sexual violence to learn and heal together.  Through discussion of sexual trauma, shared or individual experiences, and local resources, these groups help increase connection and support for survivors, caregivers, partners, and others.

We are in the process of developing additional Peer Groups (talk), Please take our survey on the Emerge page to assist us in this process.

from peer support group participants:

"the time I spent attending the group allowed me to take what felt like a hidden broken life & begin to put the pieces back together.
"

"I love that there is a resource that works for me.
